Elegant, Old World Custom Home in Tomball, Texas

From day one, working with Chris and Shannon felt like working with friends. Their easy-going, kind and warm demeanor made designing their custom home in Tomball, Texas a true joy for our team. Chris and Shannon reached out to us shortly after they had begun the process of building their new home and found themselves overwhelmed by the number of decisions that had to be made. Teaming up with them was so much fun for us and we loved being a part of their process from framing to their reveal day!

Please describe your home before working with Moore House Interiors. What was your main problem with your home that caused you to hire a designer/decorator? What did you want or need for the space?

We needed help picking out everything from flooring, countertops and plumbing fixtures as well as furniture. MHI did an amazing job with all of it.

Had you worked with a designer prior working with Moore House Interiors?

No.

How did you find Moore House Interiors? And why did you choose to work with us on your project?

We found MHI through Google. We looked at the MHI website and liked the designs that we saw. We set up a meeting and just from speaking to Ashley on the phone, I knew I wanted her to design our house! From the moment we met, it felt like we were working with a friend.

What was your favorite part of the design process?

Seeing our design boards was our favorite part of the process!

What did you enjoy about working with Moore House Interiors?

We loved everything! The staff, the quality of furniture and the style are all amazing. I love how available you were and I could ask questions whenever and you would answer promptly. The best part was they would deal with situations or people when I didn’t want to!! There isn’t anything I would change. Working with the MHI team was totally worth every penny. We seriously could not have decorated or picked out all the features in our house without you!

Many people say that interior design is a luxury service and it’s too expensive. What do you say to your friends and family who believe that they might not be able to afford it?

If you think it’s a luxury or too expensive, have a consultation and see first before deciding if you can afford it or not. Without a doubt we would hire a designer again if we ever built another home!

Would you recommend Moore House Interiors to a friend?

Yes! We felt so comfortable after our first meeting that we trusted the MHI team to come up with a beautiful interior for our home. They totally knocked it out of the park and made our dream home even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The MHI team is so fun to work with and so meticulous, it shows in their work.

Anything else you’d like to share with our readers about working with Moore House Interiors?

MHI is amazing! We were building our dream home and knew we needed help. We met with Ashley and her team and literally told them to pick what they would put in their own homes. What they came up with was elegant but cozy. Our home has such a welcoming and cozy feel, which is exactly what we wanted. I had a ton of questions throughout the building process and Ashley was always quick to respond. We highly recommend MHI. They are fun individuals and make an amazing team! ❤️
