Farmhouse Living Room Decor

We still love looking at the living room from our Giddings Farmhouse project. It’s so cozy and inviting to us! It instantly welcomes you and makes you want to curl up with a good book or pull out a card game for the family to play. Yes, the farmhouse look is pretty trendy right now and not for everyone. But here’s why we love it: the farmhouse look is all about comfort, warmth, simplicity, timeless colors and patterns and there’s nothing pretentious about it. Sure, you can get the same vibe from other styles, it’s all about the pieces you pick. However, the farmhouse style checks all the boxes and creates beautiful spaces that still feel LIVABLE.

Livable is a key word for us here at Moore House Interiors. We never want you to feel like you can’t live in your space, meaning, we want you to be able to sit comfortably on every piece of furniture and let your kids or dogs touch your furniture without you freaking out. Can’t you just picture a family gathered in this space and it feels so natural? That’s our goal and our vision for our client’s. We want to design spaces that they can enjoy without feeling like they’re in a museum and will get in trouble if they sit on something. This farmhouse aesthetic lends itself to that exact cozy, comfortable, relaxed feel we’re going for!

Even if you don’t like farmhouse style or you don’t have that look in your home, these are all pieces that can easily be incorporated into any style of living room! Shop this look below to spruce up your family room.
